Dr. Kate Marmelo is your neighborhood eye doctor located at 83 Faunce Corner Rd. Your North Dartmouth eyecare center offers genuine eye care where your eye health and wellness is our primary focus. Annual eye exams are a recommended cornerstone for ensuring the health of your eyes. In addition to checking for changes in your vision and updating your prescription, we will also look at your overall eye health, internally and externally. Prevention and early detection are keys to maintaining healthy eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. That’s why regular check-ups are critical.

Dr. kate Marmelo graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology in 2000. In 2004 She received her Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry. She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Optometry. Dr. Kate Marmelo is the Franchise owner of both Pearle Vision in Seekonk and North Dartmouth. She resides in Mattapoisett with her husband and three children. Dr. Marmelo enjoys traveling and watching her children's sporting events.

Dr. Courtney Trevino
Dr. Trevino graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics in 2011. In 2015, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry. She is currently licensed by the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Board of Optometry. Dr. Trevino examines and treats patients of all ages and has a passion for pediatric eye care. Dr. Trevino is an avid Patriots fan. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Joseph Tarantino
Dr. Joe Tarantino graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology in 1988. In 1992 he received his Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston. He is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Optometry. Dr. Tarantino served in the United States Navy from 1992 to 1995 performing a wide range of optometric services on active duty, retired personnel, and service dependents. He resides in Mansfield, MA with his wife and their two children.

Dr. Nathan Bates
Dr. Nathan Bates graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami in 2017. He completed his undergraduate research at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which subsequently led to 3 publications. He received his Doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in 2021 and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Optometry. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching sports and is an avid pickleball player.
